hello beauties!♥ as of lately my skin and i have not been getting along. with the seasons changing my allergies have been through the roof! let's not forget my eczema; flare ups have been horrible! for the same reason i find myself staying away from putting on any makeup and just letting my skin rest. so please excuse the lack of makeup products, but here are my current obsessions.

Lush - No Drought Dry Shampoo
hello beauties!♥
so sorry that i've been m.i.a. but so much has happened. i honestly don't even know where to begin.
to avoid a bunch of mumbo jumbo, and to get back into the swing of things, i bring to you a review!
people are really indecisive when it comes to dry shampoo. some think not washing your hair everyday is gross, while others don't mind a little refresher in between washes. from my personal and professional experience, i'm totally for it!

Rainbow Honey - June Mini Mystery Bag
hello beauties!♥
a couple days ago i posted a photo on my ig giving a sneak peek on rainbow honey's june mini mystery bag. this is the second bag i've received, there was an issue with last months bag. someone's sticky little fingers thought it would be a good idea to throw a polish to see what would happen. sure enough, it broke and splattered all over my kitchen floor. :/
anywho, for about $13usd a month, you get a couple 5ml of new unreleased lacquers, along with other new products made in their lab. you also have the option of getting the large mystery bag for $25usd, the difference being the size of the lacquers..instead of them being 5ml, they're 15ml.
so let's get right in!
pikake ♥5ml - is a topper with different sized white, pink, orange, and light/dark purple glitters. the base has very small iridescent glitters.
ichigo ♥5ml - a fuchsia jelly with blue and purple iridescent flakes.
♥in natural sunlight outside.
they we're all pretty easy to work with, in both photos i only applied two coats of each. ichigo is the only one that could have used a third coat, to make it more opaque, but it still looks good without it. i like the see-through jelly look of it.
♥with flash indoors.
l - r // rose macaron // pikake (on top of china glaze // innocence) // rose macaron // ichigo

nucifera ♥4ml - i honestly don't know how to describe this scent. in the insert it says "reminiscent of the tropics and sitting on the beach."
tea biscuit ♥15oz - a scented cuticle balm. this smells soooo good, like kettlecorn popcorn. it's enriched with vitamin e.
tea biscuit exfoliating sugar scrub ♥0.5oz - exfoliates and moisturizes while leaving a subtle sweet scent behind.

Josie Maran - Escape To Morocco
hey guys!♥
i don't know if any of you are into hautelook*, everyday they have sales, 8pm pacific, on top brands & membership is free, but a couple weeks ago they had a sale going on josie maran products. most of her items were sold out, but i did get the chance to pick up a set of four mini body butters.
*by clicking on the link above, after making your first purchase, i receive a $10 credit. after registering for a membership, you will receive your own custom link to invite friends as well!
"argan oil whipped into a light, velvety, non-greasy body moisturizer in four subtly shimmering, lightly fragrant scents in vanilla fig, vanilla peach, toasted coconut and vanilla."
don't think you can really see but i swatched a little bit of all four and it gave me a really pretty luminous glow.
i absolutely love the subtle shimmer they have in them. perfect for those days i want my skin to have a little extra oomph. it does a great job on staying on the skin and not transferring over to my clothes. the smells are all so lovely, nothing obnoxious, & let's not forget that they're whipped with argan oil! i was really impressed with how moisturizing they are, seeing as i've only had the opportunity to try out her products in oil form, i didn't know what to expect with these body butters.
one quick question:
i know there are plenty of flash sale sites out there focusing on different brands or targeted towards a specific group, such as children. are you a member of any other flash sale sites? if so, which ones are your favorite??

Ipsy - Fresh Picks
hello beauties!♥
this month's bag came in quite early.
eva nyc // therapy session hair mask // 500mL - $40usd
ipsy sample size // 60mL - $12usd
smells amazeballs! left my hair feeling so soft & healthy. it contains argan oil to help nourish, revitalize, condition, & keravis protein to help with strength and elasticity.
hang ten // classic sport spf50 // 6oz - $13usd
ipsy sample size // 1oz - $2.17usd
i wish i could put this to good use, but chicago's playing with us. it's the middle of may and we're still dealing with cold, gloomy, rainy days. some find it annoying, i sorta like it. as soon as it starts to warm up, we'll be dealing with crazy humidity & i'm really not looking forward that. at all. so i guess for now i'll just leave this little guy alone. (& yes i know i should still protect myself even though it's cloudy, but whatever.)
ipsy sample size // 0.7oz
i was looking forward to trying this out, but unfortunately received it broken. :/ the colors look so pretty, that i might just mix them together and press them. we'll see.
boo-boo cover-up // concealer // medium // $20usd
full size.
"our innovative formula offers great coverage for skin imperfections while containing ingredients known in nature to promote healing."
♥ love this! i used it for my under eye area & it really brightened up my face. you really have to work quick with it because it dries rather quickly. i didn't really have any issues with it moving around without setting it & creasing was very minimal. it contains aloe, chamomile, green tea, tea tree oil, & vitamin e.
swissco // eyelash curler // $5usd
this was something i really needed but was putting off. does what it's supposed to & the color is kickass!

Biore Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser
first off, let me start by saying that this stuff has saved my skin! you really do notice cleaner pores after just using it once & it smells amazingggg!
for the most part i have really clear skin, but around my nose & sometimes near my brow area i tend to get a couple black heads. for a while i was just using
for the most part i have really clear skin, but around my nose & sometimes near my brow area i tend to get a couple black heads. for a while i was just using
philosophy's // purity made simple one-step facial cleanser // $23usd
after first wiping off my makeup with a face towelette, but i still felt i needed something with a little more oomph. i've heard so many great things about charcoal that i decided to pick up this little guy & give it a try.
biore // deep pore charcoal cleanser // $7usd
it claims to draw out and trap 2x more dirt than any regular cleanser, all while still being gentle enough to use everyday. when you first pump some out it looks like a bluish-grey jelly, with tiny pieces of charcoal throughout. as you start to rub it into your face it starts to foam and then it turns white. then after you've worked it in, you start to feel a cool tingling sensation. at first this creeped me out because i didn't see it mention that there was any menthol in it, but it is listed in the ingredients. because of this, i did notice my skin felt a little tighter than usual. boy was it clean! sure enough, the visible dirt had been drawn out of my problem areas.

overall, i would recommend this cleanser to help draw out those stubborn impurities. it's affordable, smells great, does its job & it doesn't have any salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide which can sometimes be harsh on sensitive skin.
one quick question:
have you tried other charcoal based masks/cleansers? if so, which ones are your favorites?

Ipsy - Beauty Rocks!
lately my ipsy bag has been on point! i usually give a couple goodies away because they are either not for my skin type/color, or they're repeats. i just hope the next couple of months are great as well!!
let's get started!
this months bag beauty rocks, came with 5 beauty samples.
cover fx // mattifying primer with anti-acne treatment // $38
let me start off by saying that i will be purchasing this little wonder asap! i was so excited when i saw this little guy in my bag, and after testing this primer, i am sold!
the only other primer i have tried is smashbox's iconic photo finish, so compared to that one this ones a little thicker and it has a slight scent to it. nothing crazy or too overwhelming. i don't have acne issues so i can't really give my opinion on that part, but i assume that is one of the reasons as to why there is a scent.
rainbow honey cosmetics // nail polish // midnight fountain // $10
anyone who knows me knows that i am a nail polish junkie! creme, glitter, jelly, etc., i do not discriminate! with that being said, i loved this sample. two coats and i was good to go.
mary kay at play // jelly lip gloss // teddy bare // $10
it's a little sticky, but the color is really pretty! it does not have a scent.
urban decay // 24/7 glide-on eye pencil // black velvet // $20
ud never let's me down!
sexy hair // root pump volumizing spray mousse // $18
again, one of my favorite brands for styling products. big texan hair anyone? my clients love when i use this to give them insane volume!!
well there you have it!
if any of you are subscribed to ipsy and recieved a glam bag this month leave a comment down below with a link to your review, or tag me on ig: glamjunkie_ so i can take a peek at your goodies!

Estée Lauder - 7pc Gift with Purchase
in order to receive their 7 piece gift you have to make a minimum $35 purchase. i was looking for a light weight "foundation" so i bought their bb creme in shade 2 medium; $39.
the gift includes;
1 - lily pulitzer cosmetic bag
deluxe size
1.7 oz // $48
1- 0.24 fl oz advanced night repair synchronized recovery complex ii
1.0 oz $62 // 1.7 oz // $92
deluxe travel size
5.0 fl oz // $25
full size
12 beige // shimmer // $26
1- 1.0 oz sumptuous bold volume lifting mascara
01 black // $24
(not photographed because i could not find it.)
1- pure color eyeshadow quad
ivory slipper // satin // $22
tempting mocha // shimmer // $22
nocturnal blue // satin // $22
amazing grey // shimmer // $22
the advanced night repair and daywear creme paired together have officially become my holy grail. they seriously worked wonders on my extremely flaky dry skin. i first came across these two a couple weeks ago while i was out with my mom. we stopped by an estée lauder counter to get our complimentary eye makeup done, and i asked for a couple samples. within two days my skin was back to normal. so naturally when i found out they were having a gwp and those two were included, i didn't hesitate to make a purchase!
i've had these products for a little over two weeks, and i'm pleased with how my skin has been looking.
any product that does not irritate my super sensitive skin automatically finds a home in my heart. i'll definitely be purchasing full sizes of the skin care and the bb creme.

MAC // Playland
i'm sooo glad they finally came in!
they're really gorgeous colors, but not for my skin tone. at least not alone & where's the fun in that?!
au natural.
sweet experience
amplified // bright pink // $16.
it looks so pretty in the tube but when i applied it on my lips it looked crazy! my yellow undertones were really clashing with it, but i think once i start to get a tan it'll actually be a really gorgeous shade. it applied beautifully, but it's longevity was pretty disappointing. i'm aware that amplified lipsticks are great for those of us with drier than normal lips, but this one seemed a little too buttery. you definitely need a lip liner to avoid any feathering.
toying around
amplified // hot coral pink // $16.
now this one looked pretty scary & i was almost inclined to return it without even swatching. it's that loud. but i decided to give it a try & i'm so glad i did! the formula's a little dryer than most, but far from being a matte. this helps with the longevity. it also glides on smoothly. it looks a little more red-orangey on me, but it's absolutely gorgeous.
